Contemporary printmaker & figurative artist

James Joslin is a figurative artist and printmaker based between Hastings and London, UK. Working across oil painting and etching, his practice is centred on the creation of intimate depictions exploring presence and vulnerability of the human figure whilst revealing fragments of the artwork's construction through line. His work and compositions have been presented at the Kensington + Chelsea Art Week, Towner Gallery Eastbourne, The Phillips Collection (Cadaquésan Landscape), and the Singapore, Melbourne, Brunswick and Tasmanian International Festivals of Art (Hatta).
